About the Role
As a Fire Life Safety and Occupational Health & Safety Manager, you will lead and oversee all fire, life safety, and occupational health & safety functions to ensure a safe, compliant, and secure environment for guests, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all Fire Life Safety (FLS) and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) functions within the Hotel.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards, ISO 45001 requirements, local Fire Life Safety (FLS) and Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Develop and implement fire prevention, emergency response, evacuation, and workplace safety procedures
- Plan and execute regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of life safety systems and equipment.
- Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations to minimize safety risks.
- Organize and deliver training, fire drills, and safety awareness programs for all Hotel staff.
- Monitor safety performance, maintain records, and report on incidents, trends, and compliance status.
- Work closely with internal Departments, external authorities, and contractors on safety-related matters.
- Ensure fire escape routes, safety signage, and equipment are properly maintained and compliant.
- Support safety compliance during renovation and new project work.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
About You
- At least 3 years of experience in Hotel Engineering / Security or facility management, with solid knowledge in fire life safety and occupational health safety.
- Certified in fire safety engineering or occupational health and safety; registration with relevant authorities would be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
