Barista - Town Club

About the role:

Beverage service is a craft. It requires a deep understanding of coffee, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality to create memorable moments for our Members. As a Barista, you will bring our coffee program to life through exceptional beverage preparation, engaging storytelling, and warm, personalized service. You will also work closely with the Director of Beverage and team to uphold the highest standards of quality and consistency across the Club.

What you need to have:

• A solid foundation in coffee making and brewed beverages, with a passion for continuous learning
• Experience in café or hospitality environments; exposure to high-end or specialty coffee concepts is an advantage 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support the team.
• Good command of English; Cantonese and Mandarin are an advantage

What you will do:

• Craft high-quality coffee and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, precision, and creativity
• Deliver a warm and engaging experience for Members, sharing knowledge of coffee, beans, and brewing methods
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all barista and service areas, ensuring compliance with operational standards 
• Work alongside the Food & Beverage Service Team to ensure service meets the Carlyle & Co. level of excellence – from food and beverage quality, to every Associate interaction
• Assist in promoting the coffee program, including upselling and introducing new offerings or seasonal items
• Stay updated on coffee trends and techniques, bringing fresh ideas to elevate the Member experience​​​​​​
