Senior Duty Engineer

Responsibilities:

• To supervise and direct subordinates to complete the assigned tasks according to the agreed repair and maintenance program
• To be responsible for managing installation, maintenance and repairs projects of the hotel
• To coordinate with contractors in carrying out routine maintenance
• To assist in providing training for staff, evaluating their progress and performance periodically; and ensure that they are working in the most practical, skillful and safe manner
• To assess safety and health risks in the work place and take necessary precautions if required
• To check the daily progress of repair and maintenance work orders
• To analyze and monitor the consumption of fuel, power and water of the hotel and recommend measures to save energy
• To read the Engineering Log Book daily and take the corrective action as required
• To perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Certificate of Registration of Electrical Worker in Grade A and Grade B is preferred
• Certificate of Construction Industry Safety Training
• Certificate in Fire Fighting course is preferred
