Assistant Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Second in charge of the Housekeeping team.
• To assist the Department Head in monitoring the Housekeeping team’s daily operation covering public areas, changing rooms, uniform & linen, and laundry services
• Adherence to the Club’s set operating and quality standards in terms of cleanliness and hygiene with immaculate attention to detail
• Ensure the procedures and services provided by the Housekeeping team complies with all Club standards
• Supervise a 30 plus staff members’ Housekeeping team to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
• Manage and monitor the external service providers and contractor on their capacity and service qualities (e.g. laundry service)
• Assist in sourcing and procurement of new equipment for Housekeeping Areas
• Provide all related on-the-job trainings and coaching for the team
• Perform any duties as assigned when necessary

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant disciplines with professional hotel training is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience at supervisory level in Housekeeping operation, preferably in clubs or hotels
• Strong sense of service excellence
• Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills
• Strong drive to achieve results and willingness to proactively improve ways of working and services are essential
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
