IT Project Coordinator (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Promise (Hong Kong) Co., Limited. You will play a crucial role in managing the successful delivery of our technology projects. As an IT Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting various aspects of our technology initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the creation and management of project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

• Coordinate project activities across the Application Development Team, Infrastructure Team, and various business departments.

• Present project updates and strategic insights to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Prepare documentation and materials for internal project approval processes.

• Ensure compliance of all IT applications and infrastructure settings with relevant security standards and regulations.

• Support the implementation of security measures, regular audits, and risk assessments for applications.

What we're looking for

• JLPT N1 proficiency is required.

• University degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Project Management Assistant or in a similar coordination role.

• IT project experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• PMP or similar project management certification is a significant plus.

• Experience in Banking & Financial Services is an advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Technical knowledge in ITIL, Programming, or Database Management is an advantage.

• Familiarity with IT security best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO27001) is preferred.

• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and deliver results under tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional command of written and spoken Japanese, English, and Cantonese.
