We are looking for an innovation‑driven and delivery‑focused Assistant Manager who is passionate about IT innovation and developing new systems. This role is not about maintaining legacy platforms only — it is for someone who is hungry to build, launch, and improve new IT systems and digital projects, and who has the discipline to manage projects properly and deliver them on time.

The successful candidate will combine a strong interest in IT innovation with solid project management and vendor management skills, ensuring ideas are translated into well‑executed, on‑time digital solutions

What you’ll do

IT Innovation & New System Development (Core Focus)

• Actively drive and participate in IT innovation initiatives and new system development projects

• Explore, evaluate, and propose new IT systems, digital platforms, and technologies to improve business processes and user experience

• Work with internal and external teams to turn innovation ideas into practical, deployable solutions

• Maintain a strong curiosity for new technologies and continuously identify opportunities for digital enhancement

Project Management & Timeline Ownership

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of new IT systems and digital projects

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies

• Closely track progress and take ownership to ensure projects are delivered on time

• Proactively identify risks, issues, or delays and drive corrective actions

• Prepare clear project status updates for management and stakeholders

Vendor Management

• Manage external vendors, system integrators, and solution providers

• Ensure vendors deliver according to agreed scope, quality, and timeline

• Follow up closely on deliverables and challenge vendors when timelines or quality are at risk

• Support vendor selection, coordination, and performance review

 Team Leadership

• Lead, guide, and support 2–3 team members in project execution

• Allocate tasks, monitor delivery, and review work quality

• Encourage innovation mindset and hands‑on problem solving within the team

• Act as a player‑coach — leading while remaining involved in project work

Stakeholder & Delivery Coordination

• Work closely with business users to understand needs and translate them into system requirements

• Align stakeholders, internal IT teams, and vendors on scope, priorities, and timelines

• Support UAT, go‑live preparation, and post‑implementation review

Key qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline

• 3-5 years of experience in IT projects, digital system implementation, or system development roles

• Experience working on new IT systems or digital projects, not only system support

• Strong passion for IT innovation and building new systems

• Good command of English and Chinese

• Results‑oriented with a strong sense of accountability for project delivery

• Solid project management capability with strong timeline control

• Experience managing vendors and coordinating multiple parties

• Hands-on exposure to web systems, mobile applications, CRM, CMS, ERP, or workflow platforms is beneficial but not mandatory

• Experience related to AI and robotics will be considered an advantage
