Role overview
ISS Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Manager, People Engagement to design and deliver staff engagement programmes, lead employer‑branding activities, manage our inclusive‑employment programme, and own employee digital‑experience platforms. The role requires hands‑on programme management, strong data‑analysis capability (Power BI, Excel, web design), and excellent bilingual communication (English/Chinese).
What you’ll do
Engagement programmes: Lead the full cycle of the annual engagement survey — project planning, communications, launch management, stakeholder engagement across frontline to senior leaders, reporting, data interpretation, and follow up action planning.
Employee experience: Oversee the Employee Experience Wheel and ERG led campaigns to strengthen the EVP, company values and social sustainability; manage logistics, communications and stakeholder alignment.
Digital experience & platforms: Own digital onboarding/offboarding initiatives, UI/UX optimisation, platform content and adoption monitoring; provide technical support and continuous improvement for internal communication and employee experience platforms.
Employer branding & communications: Lead corporate awards submissions, recruitment marketing, social content and employer website copy; produce high quality written and visual content in Chinese and English.
Inclusive programme leadership: Lead the inclusive employment programme SHINE@ISS, including planning, promotion, stakeholder engagement (NGOs, the Labour Department, internal teams), media involvement and ongoing programme development.
Key qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
Technical skills: Strong proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and web design for survey reporting, dashboards and insight generation.
Communications: Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English; able to produce polished corporate communications.
Digital & UX: Experience managing employee experience platforms; basic UI/UX awareness and user engagement strategies.
Project management: Proven ability to lead multistage programmes and events independently.
Content creation: Strong copywriting skills and basic visual/content design; graphic design a plus.
Personal skills you excel
Experience engaging frontline employees and multigenerational workforces.
Event management experience (small to large scale).
Experience working in corporate HR/people engagement or related agency roles preferred.
Experience collaborating with government departments, NGOs or community partners is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal skills, analytical mindset and creativity
Candidate with less experience will consider as Senior Officer position.
