Relationship Manager (ref: SF)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of corporate clients, financial sponsors, and intermediaries to originate new business opportunities.
• Originate and execute structured finance transactions, including but not limited to syndicated loans, leveraged finance, bond issuances, hedging solutions, and cash management products.
• Provide comprehensive financial solutions aligned with clients’ financing needs, including proposing tailored structured credit solutions such as syndicated loans, trade finance, structured finance, cash management, and cross-selling of treasury products.
• Conduct credit due diligence independently and ensure sound asset quality in accordance with the bank’s credit standards.
• Identify, analyze, and manage complex transaction structures, and proactively mitigate credit risks within the portfolio through regular credit reviews.
• Prepare and present credit proposals, including negotiation of credit terms, pricing, and collateral structures, in compliance with the bank’s internal policies and guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of solid sales and marketing experience in corporate banking, commercial banking, or a structured finance environment, with a proven track record in new client acquisition and relationship development.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance, commercial lending, and treasury products; formal credit analysis training is a definite advantage.
• Familiarity with the global syndicated loan market, private equity sponsor-led transactions, and structured finance products.
• Holder of the Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Credit Risk Management qualification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated, independent, and dynamic, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
