We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and proactive Assistant Manager – Italian Restaurant to join our hotel team. If you enjoy leading by example, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and supporting day-to-day restaurant operations with professionalism, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operations Manager to supervise and administer team performance and take charge of day-to-day management tasks
- Execute assigned duties from Operations Manager, in order to fulfil operational needs
- Monitor the efficiency of serving and order taking, ensure decent presentations of dishes
- Visit guest tables to encourage guest engagement and satisfaction by acquiring their opinions and comments in overall experience
- Prepare and lead daily briefings to restaurant staff in accordance with everyday situations and special arrangements during Manager’s absence, e.g. ad hoc requests or VIP visiting
Requirements:
- Certificate or above in Hotel and Catering or related disciplines
- Minimum 4 years’ related experience in hotel industry, including supervisory experience, or an equivalent
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent in communication & interpersonal skill
- Fluent spoken English, Cantonese and preferably Putonghua
