Accounting Officer - Accounts Receivable/ Payable

Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui

This role is open for either an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable Officer, with responsibilities assigned based on experience and business needs.

 

What you will do:

Accounts Receivable

  • Processes invoices/folios promptly and to render interim and monthly statements and follow-up letters on a timely basis
  • Prepare interim and monthly statements and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Ensure City Ledger postings are accurate and reconciled with control accounts

Accounts Payable

  • Process petty cash claims and staff reimbursements
  • Review IOUs and coordinate with the General Cashier for timely clearance
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of travel agents’ commissions

 

What you should have:

  • Ideally with a certificate in Finance or Accounting
  • Relevant working experience as Accounting Clerk in a hotel or in a similar large supply firm
  • Well-developed computer skills in the use of MS Office, email and Materials management systems
