This role is open for either an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable Officer, with responsibilities assigned based on experience and business needs.
What you will do:
Accounts Receivable
- Processes invoices/folios promptly and to render interim and monthly statements and follow-up letters on a timely basis
- Prepare interim and monthly statements and follow up on outstanding balances
- Ensure City Ledger postings are accurate and reconciled with control accounts
Accounts Payable
- Process petty cash claims and staff reimbursements
- Review IOUs and coordinate with the General Cashier for timely clearance
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of travel agents’ commissions
What you should have:
- Ideally with a certificate in Finance or Accounting
- Relevant working experience as Accounting Clerk in a hotel or in a similar large supply firm
- Well-developed computer skills in the use of MS Office, email and Materials management systems
