Assistant Manager / Supervisor 22K-25K

Being one of the few robatayaki Japanese restaurants that is located on the upper floors of one of the tallest buildings in the world. Inakaya has successfully maintained and strengthened its upscale and find image in Hong Kong.

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager / Supervisor 22K-25K 

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure service standards are consistently met.
2. Lead and supervise the service team to deliver high-quality, professional hospitality.
3. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and special requests with a problem-solving mindset
4. Coordinate closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth communication and order accuracy.
5. Assist in staff training, shift scheduling, and performance monitoring.
6. Support the Restaurant Manager in executing operational procedures and opening/closing duties.
7. Deliver exceptional customer service and motivate the staff the do the same.

Requirements:

1. 2-3 years working experience in Japanese restaurants, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role; fine dining experience is preferred
2. Solid knowledge of Japanese cuisine and service etiquette.
3. Willing to learn and able to work in a high pace dining room
4. Strong leadership and communication skills; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. A team player who takes initiative and embraces challenges.
6. Must good written and verbal communication skills in Cantonese including English and Mandarin
7. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Supervisor role.
