Research Assistant - Retail Market and Institutional Research

We are seeking a research assistant to provide fundamental research and technical analysis on market strategy and stock recommendations. This role reports directly to the Head of Research and Financials Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on Chinese equities (including Hong Kong-listed and Stock Connect) and generate investment ideas
• Assist in providing timely market insights and investment recommendations to sales and clients
• Write equity research reports, IPO fact sheets, and assist in preparing presentation materials
• Participate in ad-hoc project assigned by the Financials Analyst, Head of Research and Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
• Relevant experience in equity research or technical analysis will be an advantage
• CMT qualification would be an advantage
• Outgoing personality with a proactive mindset and strong presentation skills
• Genuine interest in equity analysis and willingness to learn
• Fluent in both Cantonese, English and Mandarin
• SFC license holder is preferred
• Effectively using AI is preferred
