AI & Data Program Manager - Data Science & Governance

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior AI & Data Program Manager/ Team Head & Senior Manager, AI & Data Governance  to oversee and manage AI and Data related programs
• Ensure compliance with departmental and program/ project management standards and procedures
• Coordinate with various stakeholders (including data functions, governance and compliance functions, business/ support unit users, IT, program stream leads, POD team) to monitor progress, report status and resolve identified issues.
• Act as a PMO/ project management professional with data and/ or AI expertise.
• Assist in managing and tracking program/ project related financials/ costs
• Track program progress and performance metrics, identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
• Coordinate program/ project related meetings, including creation of meeting materials, to ensure alignment with governance requirements and standards 
• Ensure all program/ project artifacts meet quality standards and contribute to overall program goals 
• Maintain RAID logs and monitor programs/ projects health metrics or KPIs, with transparent status tracking and timely handling or escalation if required.
• Assist in the administration of the Project Management Office and department
• Serve as a coordination point across businesses/ support units, IT, data, risk, compliance, governance to deliver assigned program/ project
• Facilitate governance/ program/ project workgroup meetings/ workshops with strong stakeholder management and meeting courtesies
• Assist the supervisor in program/ project delivery
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work
• Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor

Requirements

• University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information System, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred;
• Minimum 4 years’ work experience in system implementation or IT project management or consultation project in consultation field or firm which cover the followings:
• Sound project management, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills;
• Strong communication and report writing skills;
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, mature, independent with excellent decision-making skills; 
• Good team player and able to work under pressure and tight schedules;
• Able to guide / lead subordinates to complete tasks on time and with quality;
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Chinese.
• Experience or knowledge in AI, data, or technology transformation would be a plus.
• Certification in project management/ data/ AI/ model is advantageous.
