Vice President, Team head, Underwriting, Reinsurance & Business Development Team - Chong Hing Insurance Company Limited

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for underwriting process and business development with Company Underwriting Guideline precisely and timely
• Assist the Section Head of Underwriting, Reinsurance and Business Development Section to achieve assigned Key Performance  Indicator (“KPI”)
• Collaborate with Director and /or Head of General Insurance to reach the overall business goal and KPI
• Manage and monitor the code of conduct of insurance intermediaries with the support of various divisions of the Bank and internal control of the Company
• Provide monitoring, supervision and inspection to the daily operation of Underwriting, Reinsurance .and Business Development Section
• Assist the Section Head to review Underwriting Policy periodically

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in General Insurance preferably in Bancassurance, with at least 3 years in supervisory role
• Professional qualification in General Insurance such as ACII, ANZIFF will be an advantage
• Sound knowledge of General Insurance products and good understanding of market trend in General Insurance industry
• Self-motivated, sales driven, customer centric minded and able to work under pressure
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
