Project Manager - Fintech Development

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing project management functions to oversee and manage the constraints (scope, schedule, resources, cost and quality) of individual projects ensuring compliance with departmental and project management standards and procedures
• Lead the team to complete daily operations and develop the team members career development• Liaise with business units to ensure project progress as planned
• Assist in resolving any identified issues that hinder project implementation
• Manage large scale system implementation or consultation project
• Supervise major project activities and rollout plans
• Manage external vendors to ensure project progress as planned
• Assist in conducting feasibility study for prospective projects
• Assist in the administration of the Project Management Office and department
• Assist in enforcing various departmental standards
• Lead, plan and monitor the work of subordinates
• Control assigned human resources to best meet project objectives
• Dedicate to developing subordinates
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
• Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Requirements

• University graduate in Business Administration, Finance, Management Information System, Computer Science or related discipline is preferred;
• Minimum 8 years’ work experience in system implementation or IT project management or consultancy
• Experience in Personal Banking and/or Wholesale Banking advantageous;
• Sound project management, interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills;
• Strong communication and report writing skills;
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, mature, independent with excellent decision-making skills; 
• Good team player and able to work under pressure and tight schedules;
• Able to guide / lead subordinates to complete tasks on time and with quality;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese + Mandarin)
