Compliance & Risk Management (Corporate Business)- Wholesale Banking

About the Role

To manage and coordinate the risk control measures under the scope of compliance, credit, and operational risk management; and work with different risk departments and Legal & Compliance Department on formulating and implementing risk monitoring and self-assessment measures for wholesale banking sectors.

Major Duties

• žTo perform routine monitoring and reporting of credit, operational, legal and compliance risk related situations;

• žTo communicate and negotiate with the different departments regarding the issues encountered in daily operation and provide comment from risk perspective;

• žTo implement self-assessment exercises on the implementation of various risk control and monitoring measures, and evaluate the execution of the measures in wholesale banking departments;

• žTo organize and provide training on risk related topics for frontline staff of wholesale banking departments;

• žTo coordinate wholesale frontline departments on revising and updating various guidelines and procedural manuals in relation to risk prevention and control measures.

Requirements

• žhold bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field such as Finance, Economics, or Business Administration;

• žbe familiar with wholesale banking products, and have at least 3-year experience in related fields;

• žpossess sound knowledge in compliance, credit and operational risk management.

• žbe proficient in writing and communicating in English and Chinese, with good communication and management skills

• žbe able to work independently and under pressure
