Summer Programme Main Instructor / Teaching Assistant (Available in July and August)

Job Responsibilities:

• Working Period: July 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026 (Depends on your availability)
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and learning activities for children aged 2–6 and Primary 1–6.
• Assist in designing curriculum content, preparing teaching materials, and enhancing overall programme quality to support children’s learning.
• Ensure children’s safety while fostering a warm, interactive, and supportive learning environment.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above (Degrees in Education or Teaching Certificates are preferred)
• Must be a native English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Must be friendly, cheerful, creative, energetic, patient, and possess a genuine love for working with young children.
• Proven experience in early childhood / primary teaching and curriculum development.
• Experience working in kindergartens, playgroups, or primary schools in Hong Kong, specifically with ages 2–6 or Primary 1–6.
• Registered QKT, PGDE certificate holder, or Registered Teacher status is highly advantageous.
• Must possess a valid Hong Kong work permit.
• Working location: YMCA of Hong Kong Building (Tsim Sha Tsui).

* Candidate with less experience will be considered as Teaching Assistant
