Develop and maintain relationships with Corporate SME clients from mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong that manufacture and export, ensuring exceptional service and support.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, with a focus on acquiring new Corporate SME clients in the manufacturing sector.
Market and deliver tailored banking solutions, including trade finance, derivative financial products and general financing, aligned to clients’ operational and financial needs.
Conduct credit assessments and prepare financing proposals for clients, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and offering solutions aligned with client objectives.
Based on client needs, proactively cross-sell hedging solutions (e.g., interest rate and FX derivatives) and wealth management products to provide integrated, value-added solutions.
Ensure adherence to KYC/AML regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and staying informed about industry trends affecting Corporate Banking SME clients, especially with respect to Taiwanese businesses.
Actively participate in the development and training of Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs), providing guidance and support to enhance their skills in client management and business development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in corporate banking, with a focus on relationship management and business development within the SME sector. Previous experience with Taiwanese clients will be an advantage.
Familiarity with Trade Finance products and processes.
Fluent in Mandarin, with basic proficiency in English.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build and maintain strong relationships.
