Responsibilities:

  • Handle authorization and fraud management team located in HK and offshore for issuing & acquiring business.
  • Develop and implement robust authorization and fraud management strategies to protect business against financial loss and improve customer experience.
  • Review and advise authorization and fraud rules in risk management tools.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to investigate and resolve fraud cases effectively.
  • Conduct regular review on offshore team performance and provide coaching.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management on fraud mitigation controls based on risk analysis and new fraud trend.
  • Review and implement optimized authorization rules to balance fraud detection and business opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, card scheme requirements and internal policies related to authorization and fraud management.
  • Perform user acceptance test for system enhancement related to card scheme release & mandate.
  • Provide regular reporting on authorization performance and fraud trend, share insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist in ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Banking, Finance or related discipline..
  • At least 6 years of solid experience in card authorization/ fraud operations/ fraud risks/ investigations or relevant disciplines, of which at least 2 years in supervisory level.
  • With domain knowledge in merchant acquiring /card authorization /card fraud handling.
  • Knowledge of credit card dispute rules and regulations will be an added advantage.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
