Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of credit portfolio analysts responsible for monitoring and analyzing the consumer banking credit portfolio (Secured Portfolio)
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the credit portfolio, minimize risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, operations, and risk management, to identify and address emerging credit risks
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on the performance and health of the consumer banking credit portfolio
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, driving process enhancements and the adoption of best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong track record of leading teams and driving portfolio optimization initiatives
• Demonstrated expertise in credit portfolio analysis, risk modeling, and the application of risk management principles
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and make data-driven recommendations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights to senior management
• Proficient in the use of data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to extract insights from large datasets
