At the moment, we are looking for a Chief Concierge to join our professional team at The Royal Garden Kowloon East.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and services, and use this knowledge to promote the hotel to guests
- Supervise and direct Concierge and Bell Desk activities, including oversight of Bell Staff
- Manage and provide direction for the day-to-day operations and administration of all components of the Bell team
- Supervise valet parking for all hotel guests and maximize the use of available space
- Prepare efficient work schedules for Bell Services, arranging holidays and vacations while considering projected occupancy, forecasts, and large group movements, especially those with early or late arrivals or departures
- Ensure that all bell staff are neat, clean and punctual at all times, and that they perform their assigned tasks promptly and efficiently
- Provide information about all hotel services, local points of interest, restaurants, doctors, sightseeing tours, and any other details likely to interest guests
- Ensure the lobby is always kept in an orderly fashion and that ashtrays are clean
- Oversee the maintenance of the hotel information directory (function board) and ensure that all displayed information is current and accurate
- Handle guest-related issues concerning concierge matters and liaise with third-party companies when necessary
- Supervise traffic flow and monitor the condition of the hotel’s driveway
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in concierge or related discipline with 1 year in a supervisory capacity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver’s license required for car, free from demerit points
- Fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua
- Good Writing skills, Good Customer Service skill, Polite and with alertness
- Proficient in Computer Skills, Front Office System
