(Senior) Duty Engineer

What will you do?

• Schedule and keep records for preventive maintenance to ensure efficient and trouble-free functioning of various equipment.
• Ensure fire-fighting equipment is in optimal condition and familiarize himself / herself with the fire-fighting system and procedures
• Monitor and track daily progress of repair and maintenance work orders.
• Controls and monitors the engineering stores and ensures that the store, workshop, equipment, and tools are always secure.
• Assess safety and health risks in the workplace and take necessary precautions if required.
• Problem-solving proactive problem-solver, carry out fault investigation.
• Communication with internal and external departments.
• Supervises outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.

What do we seek in you?

• Possess 6 years of hotel engineering experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience
• Possession of a valid Electrical Worker Certificate (Grade A)
• Good technical knowledge of the electrical systems, plumbing systems, and MVAC
• Able to work independently and have good problem-solving skills
• Less experienced candidates will be considered as Duty Engineer
