Key elements of the job:
Supporting the investment banking team in day-to-day work regarding pitching and transaction execution.
Key task including:
Senior role responsible for the coverage, origination and execution of equity and equity linked transactions (IPOs, follow ons, block trades, convertibles, rights issues and private placements), acting as a strategic adviser on equity capital structure and market access, and leading deal teams to deliver ECM solutions for corporate and financial sponsor clients.
Leading the origination and execution of ECM transactions, including IPOs, follow on offerings, block trades, convertibles and rights issues, from pitch through pricing and closing.
Contribute to broader franchise development, including cross selling investment banking products and supporting strategic initiatives where equity markets expertise is required.
Deep experience and understanding of equity capital markets products (IPOs, placements, convertibles, rights issues, block trades) and relevant listing / regulatory frameworks
The ideal candidate:
Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Statistics academic or para-legal related background
Preferable Professional qualification of CPA or CFA
Solid experience and expertise in ECM origination and sales capabilities with proven track record.
Good command of documentation
Proficiency in English ,Mandarin and/ or Cantonese - writing and conversation
Sensitive to numbers and ability to understand financial statement
