Job Summary:
Responsible for leading the Investment FX function and driving product strategies, sales performance, and channel development to support the Bank’s wealth business growth. The role oversees a diverse set of stakeholders and ensures that Investment FX offerings meet customer needs, regulatory expectations, and business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and implement product and business strategies to deliver the Bank’s Investment FX growth objectives.
Lead and manage the FX Specialist team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to uplift sales capability and product knowledge across channels.
Oversee the day‑to‑day management of FX products, ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and analyze FX market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for business growth and product enhancement.
Maintain and enhance the FX product suite to meet the needs of different customer segments within the Bank.
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product suitability and timely execution of initiatives.
Provide expert advice to frontline sales teams on FX solutions, coverage strategies, and risk considerations.
Support Branch Managers and frontline staff in exploring wealth opportunities involving FX solutions.
Conduct joint sales calls with branch sales staff to facilitate client engagement and deal execution.
Host workshops or clinics to uplift sales performance of individual sales staff
Requirements:
University degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in retail or wealth business, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Solid knowledge of FX products, with proven hands‑on experience in business development or sales management in the Investment FX products.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and influence the team.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
High attention to accuracy and detail, with strong awareness of risk and regulatory expectations.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for AVP rank.
Preferably with pass in HKSI Licensing Examinations;
Preferably with CRWP, CFA or CFP qualifications
