Associate - Corporate Banking

Responsibilities

• Provides corporate banking products to clients under guidance and supervision by seniors.
• Evaluates the financial conditions of the clients, the value of pledged collateral, and the clients’ management effectiveness and competency.
• Makes recommendations on loans and terms.
• Solicits new customers and grow existing customer portfolio.
• Assist Relationship Managers in providing sale support service to customers. Handle customer enquiries and closely liaise with supporting departments to ensure customer’s requests are being processed speedily and correctly.
• Assist Relationship Managers in handling customers’ account opening matters and completing AML procedures
• Assist Relationship Managers to follow up on post-credit approval operations and documentation
• Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity

Requirements

• Associate degree or University degree, preferably major in business, finance
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking/finance sector
• Relevant HKIB qualification will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of the principle of commercial credit, account opening and operation procedures
• Strong communication skills with good business contacts.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable

*Candidate with more experience could be considered as Senior Associate.
