Assistant Security Manager

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for keeping things secure and safe? As the Assistant Security Manager at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, you will support the Security Manager in daily operations, supervising security personnel and ensuring the smooth execution of security protocols. You and your team will be our unsung hero ensuring our luxury lifestyle hotel’s safety, and keeping our guests, associates and workplace secure 24/7.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Assisting the Security Manager in supervising and motivating the Security team to maintain the security and safety of the hotel.
• Setting up security operating procedures, reviewing and improving them when necessary.
• Planning and coordinating security measures of VIP visits and events.
• Collaborating with Security Manager in security and safety training for the security team as well as the hotel emergency response team members.
• Leading and managing the team in investigations and incident reporting.

What we need from you

• A minimum of 6 years’ work experience in hotel security team, with at least 1 year at managerial role.
• A holder of Security Personnel Permit. 
• A holder of valid first aider and AED certificate.
• A higher diploma in security or safety management is preferrable.
• Strong service mindset, good planning and organising skills.
• Good leadership, training and coaching skills.
• Multi-tasking abilities and attention to details.
• Good command of both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), speaking and writing.
