Job Summary

  • Supervise and manage daily operations for FX and Fixed Income Team

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational procedures, and ensure control and compliance with operational risk management standards and regulatory requirements in all areas of the team

  • Support the business to launch the new investment products, services, and distribution channels

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with team to identify the best practices, and contribute the success of the Bank Manage & monitor the implementation of new systems, launch of products, and departmental & cross-departmental projects in accordance to the business strategies

  • Timely review & update the operational procedure in accordance to operational risk management standards, service agreement, and regulatory requirements

  • Identify area of improvement, development and opportunity of the team, and drive productivity & operational excellence

  • Ensure competency across the team of the necessary skills and knowledge to complete all required tasks

  • Handle compliant, requests, enquiries from different internal and external clients including internal audit, Compliance, regulatory bodies requests, and etc.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive operational procedures, and ensure control and compliance with operational risk management standards, regulatory requirements, and service agreement in all areas of the team

  • Ensuring the operation in compliance with the related statutory and regulatory requirements, service agreement, and internal guidelines

  • Define, implement & monitor SLA of different operational activities

  • Perform duty assigned by Treasury Settlement Section Head

  • Responsible for effective supervision and performance of individual and team activities to achieve required productivities and effectiveness

  • Support daily operational activities as assigned by the line manager & resolve any operational issues of the team

Requirements:

  • Degree of Business/Financial Studies

  • 10 years’ experience in Banking/Financial industry

  • Knowledge in Treasury & Derviative products

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Good leadership and supervisory skills

  • Practical knowledge of operating risk and compliance policies and procedures

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing skills

  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese

  • Fluent in Mandarin speaking
