Front Desk Officer who sets their own high standards across everything from cleanliness to productivity. You’ll assist our ‘one team’ approach to make sure front desk and concierge teams deal effectively and efficiently with all guest complaints, queries and suggestions.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Responsible for front desk and concierge duties
  • Always know what events and activities are on the day’s schedule
  • Handle all arrival and departure records, bookings, registration, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay 
  • Handle payment and billing
  • Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests
  • Answer guest enquiry, assist managing guest luggage
  • Collate and share our nearest by insights to meet guest requests i.e. sporting events, concerts, places of interest and restaurants
  • Provide guest service in courteous and professional manner
  • Assist in handling incoming phone calls and queries for visitors and guests
  • Assist department heads for maintain smooth operations and handle ad hoc projects

What we need from you

  • Diploma holder or above in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Hotel industry
  • Knowledge in Opera System is a must
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills
  • Good team player with pleasant character and good communication skills
  • Good command of both spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Fresh graduated with Front Office internship experience will also be considered
