Job Responsibility
The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the IRB model uses task force, ensuring timely progress tracking, cross-departmental collaboration, and monthly reporting to senior management.The role involves overseeing the implementation of key initiatives to ensure risk model use are effectively integrated into business progresses and credit systems, and adhering to regulatory standards and internal policies.
Collect, monitor, and report on the progress of all IRB Application Project workstreams.
Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks or delays through effective cross-departmental coordination (Risk, Finance, Treasury, IT, Credit, Business Units)
Prepare comprehensive Monthly Project Status Reports for the Project Working Group and Senior Management.
Serve as the primary liaison between business users, model developers, IT teams, and other stakeholders involved in model use implementation.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to define requirements, resolve issues, and ensure alignment.
Oversee the development/review of Business Requirements Documents
Assist in defining test scenarios, preparing test cases, coordinating UAT, and tracking issue resolution.
Contribute to end-user documentation and training materials.
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal standards
Drive activities to ensure all work streams are delivered on schedule.
Job Requirement
University degree (preferably in Finance, Risk Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline)
FRM, PMP, or equivalent professional certifications are advantageous
Excellent project management skills,especially in cross-departmental coordination and progress monitoring.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, experience in preparing executive-level reports
Solid understanding of banking systems, credit risk management, risk-based pricing and RAROC methodologies
Proven experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement (Risk, Finance, Treasury, IT, Business Units), and requirement documentation
Knowledge of regulatory requirements (IRB approaches)
Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills in both technical and business contexts
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within banking, risk management, or system implementation
Demonstrated experience in managing system development/implementation projects (e.g. risk models, pricing modules)
Experience in coordinating multi-departmental initiatives and driving project execution
Experience in policy/procedure documentation is a plus
Holder of ECF on Credit Risk Management is preferable
