Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee pre-trade and post-trade controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Host governance meetings to discuss and sort out compliance issues, risk management, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with existing business practices and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
• Study new regulations and to review the current compliance controls and identify proper actions for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and improvements in business controls.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance governance frameworks within the merchant business division.
• Work with third parties on compliance related outsourced task.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of experience in governance, risk management, or business control within the financial services industry.
• Familiarity with payment system architectures or risk management systems
• Proven track record of implementing effective business control measures and ensuring compliance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry best practices and risk management practices in wealth management.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), to articulate solutions to merchants and stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on results.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
