At the moment, we are looking for a Assistant Marketing & Communications Manager to join our professional team at The Royal Garden Kowloon East.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of a strategic marketing communications plan that aligns with the hotel’s objectives to enhance overall performance
- Work closely with teams (Food & Beverage, Meetings & Events, Sales, Revenue Management) to create effective marketing promotions
- Assist in managing the hotel's brand positioning and image, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, bloggers, influencers, and stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and generate positive publicity
- Update and maintain the media database, conduct proactive and reactive pitches, and stay informed about industry trends
- Analyze customer feedback and reviews to identify improvement areas, implementing changes to enhance satisfaction
- Plan and execute online campaigns, eShop, eDM, and joint promotions, coordinating marketing events with third parties
- Assist in managing hotel digital marketing channels including social media platforms and online reviews
- Create and proofread high-quality promotional materials such as press releases, brochures, and collateral in English and Chinese
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Public Relations / Hotel & Catering Management or related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in hospitality industry
- Strong sales-driven mindset combined with creativity and business acumen
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team management
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools, digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content creation.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and data-driven decision making.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative marketing campaigns
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Knowledge of photography, video editing, Photoshop, and platforms like Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, Weibo, and Snapchat is advantageous
- Excellent spoken, written and reading ability in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Assist in managing hotel digital marketing channels including social media platforms and online reviews
- Create and proofread high-quality promotional materials such as press releases, brochures, and collateral in English and Chinese
