Manager - Overseas Branch Operations & Development

Position Summary

Responsible for assisting Department Head and Section Head in monitoring and supporting business development and operation of overseas, Macau and Taiwan branches.

Responsibilities

• To assist in review and analysis of regular reports and annual budgets submitted by overseas, Macau and Taiwan branches and preparation of management proposal summary for Management’s review.
• To monitor the performance of overseas, Macau and Taiwan branches against approved key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to meet the Bank’s targets
• To coordinate between overseas, Macau and Taiwan branches and other business units of the Bank Group for customer referrals and/or other business matters
• To work with overseas, Macau and Taiwan branches in new business initiatives, as well as development and promotion of new products
• To handle regular and ad hoc tasks as assigned  

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably major in finance or business related discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years in supervisory role
• Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage
• Good knowledge in banking operations, products and services;
• Good understanding of banking policies, procedures, practices and rules;
• Holder of Associate Operational Risk Management Professional (AORP) or Certified Operational Risk Management Professional (CORP) will be an advantage
• Self-motivated, good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• A team player with good communication and organisation skills;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
