(Assistant) Vice President, SupremeGold Private - Branch Distribution & Services

Responsibilities

• Promote retail banking and wealth management products to SupremeGold Private customers
• Acquire new SupremeGold Private customers through sales and marketing activities, and identify potential business opportunities for sustainable business growth
• Provide differentiated services for customers, maximize business acquisition and enhance the Bank’s image
• Establish long-term relationships with customers and deliver their expectation
• Ensure branch sales are in compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• University graduate preferred, preferably in finance, business or a related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years' solid experience in banking sector, with at least 5 years of sales and marketing position for high-net-worth (HNW) customers.
• Passed in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
• Passed in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted / Qualified Securities Dealer (HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 or equivalent)
• Passed in the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF)
• Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
• HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
• Sound knowledge in retail banking products & services and able to lead a team to ensure excellent services are provided
• Expert knowledge in financial planning and wealth products
• Good understanding and strong interest of the financial markets
• Good understanding of relevant branch policies, procedures, practices, rules and sales compliance requirements
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Putonghua will be an advantage
