Investment Consultant - Branch Distribution & Services

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support and coach branch marketing staff to meet their investment targets
• Boost up investment sales, optimize sales capacity and effectiveness for retail investment business
• Formulate and implement business strategies to support assigned regions meeting overall targets and generating extra investment fee income
• Assist frontline marketing staff to identify suitable customers for marketing of products, prepare presentation materials to customers and build up business base
• Participate in joint marketing calls with frontline marketing staff to act as investment product specialist

Requirements

• University graduate, preferably with professional qualifications such as CFP or CFA
• Minimum of 5 years' banking experience; prior experience as an Investment Consultant will be a definite advantage
• Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
• HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
• Sound technical knowledge of asset allocation & investment products including equities, unit trust, bonds and treasury products, etc.
• Passed in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted / Qualified Securities Dealer
• Strong self-motivation, able to work independently and under pressure
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Good understanding of relevant selling procedures, practices, rules and sales compliance requirements
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua
