Branch - Relationship Manager (Cross-border)

Responsibilities

  • Solicit new businesses, cultivate and retain long-term partnerships through regular reviews, ensuring the bank remains the customers’ primary financial institution.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of customers’ financial positions, risk appetites, and life goals to deliver tailored product solutions, including wealth management and credit services.
  • Expand existing portfolio through deepening of customer relationship. Proactively expand the customer base through strategic networking, lead generation, and targeted marketing campaigns to meet revenue targets.
  • Connect Specialists Team to provide tailor-made services and solutions to fulfill customers’ needs and ambitions
  • Plan and execute in-branch and off-site events to raise brand awareness and showcase new financial products to both current and prospective customers.
  • Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity
  • Serve as a coach / mentor for subordinates and junior sales staff to groom new members
  • Support branch transformation initiatives, providing feedback of our services from customers for continuous service improvement

Requirements

  • Welcome IANG/ TTPS/ QMAS/ other Visa holder
  • Candidates with international banking work experience, especially in Mainland China, are more preferred
  • University graduates preferred, with a minimum of 2 years' banking experience providing financial services to retail customers
  • Experience in managing and growing assigned customer portfolio will be a definite advantage
  • Relevant HKIB qualification is an advantage
  • HKIB Certified Bankers preferred
  • Proven track record in selling investment products is highly preferable
  • Passed in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3 or equivalent)
  • Passed in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination or an Exempted / Qualified Securities Dealer (HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 or equivalent)
  • Passed in the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF)
  • Sound knowledge in retail banking products & services, and able to ensure excellent services are provided
  • Proactive, mature, independent, customer-focused, and pleasant
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Mandarin, knowledge of Cantonese will be an advantage
