Product Specialist, Private Wealth Management

Job Responsibilities:

• Act as product specialist in the Private Wealth Management Department to support relationship managers in promoting investment products and achieving business targets
• Support the Team Head in the screening, selection, and recommendation of investment products, including structured products, funds, and bonds, to meet clients’ investment objectives
• Conduct regular product due diligence and ongoing product reviews, ensuring product quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Perform market analysis and provide updates on performance, investment themes, and market trends to support business strategy and product development
• Develop and implement new product ideas, including preparing proposals, conducting due diligence, defining dealing procedures, and creating product or marketing materials
• Deliver product and market training sessions to front-line staff on new products and market developments
• Liaise with compliance, legal, and business management team to ensure products align with internal policies and external regulations
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Avaloq system implementation and system enhancement projects to ensure smooth integration of product and operational workflows

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Finance, Economics or Business-related disciplines
• At least 5 years wealth management experience
• Knowledge of investment products with experience in investment products.
• Familiar with up-to-date authority’s requirements
• Qualified individual to carry out regulated activities (Type 1& 4)
• Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Office and Bloomberg applications
