Restaurant Receptionist

The Repulse Bay is seeking a Receptionist to support the daily operations of The Verandah, a well-received restaurant serving Western cusinie.

Key Accountabilities

• Receive and welcome all guests to the restaurant
• Allocate tables for walk‑in guests or according to advance booking requirements, escort them to their seats, and ensure their seating arrangements are satisfactory
• Answer telephone calls and emails, handle enquiries and reservations, and provide prompt and professional service
• Acquire in‑depth knowledge of the menu, wine list, and any special promotions in order to make appropriate recommendations and maximise sales

General requirements

• Relevant experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
• Holder of a Certificate in Food and Beverage Operations
• Good sense of customer services and ability to work under pressure
• Good command of spoken English and Chinese
