At the moment, we are looking for a Assistant Director of Sales / Senior Sales Manager to join our professional team at The Royal Garden Kowloon East.
Job Responsibilities
- Validate and evaluate the potential of assigned corporate accounts and prepare account plans.
- Design and execute sales strategies; promote cross-selling across hotel properties to grow revenue.
- Keep management informed of market shifts, competitor activity and emerging trends.
- Oversee all corporate accounts and actively pursue new business through networking and prompt lead follow-up.
- Maintain and update the client database, prepare call plans, and report on sales calls, entertainment schedules and weekly activities.
- Coach, develop and inspire the sales team to meet room-night and revenue objectives.
- Lead client meetings, organize site inspections and conduct familiarization tours.
- Monitor competitors and market intelligence; recommend strategic actions to the Director od Sales & marketing.
- Collaborate with Events Management and other departments to ensure exceptional client service and follow up after events.
- Market seasonal packages and special promotions to priority corporate clients.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management or related discipline preferred.
- 8 - 10 years of relevant Sales experience in Hospitality. Focusing on corporate would be a definite advantage
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and techniques, with strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an inspirational, influencing leadership style.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market data into actionable sales plans.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin.
- Proficient with MS Office and hotel systems (Opera experience preferred).
- Strong candidates may be considered for the Assistant Director of Sales role.
