 About the job

Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Information Systems Department in Hong Kong, the IT Supervisor  is responsible for day-to-day colleague IT support and second line guest support. The IT Supervisor  reports to the IT&T Manager.

As IT Supervisor , you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of an organisation
• Troubleshooting workstations problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
• Providing support, including procedural documentation
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications
• Responding within reasonable time to all support calls
• Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
• Provide full range of network support and administration services including hardware and software, LAN/WAN infrastructure, IP Telephony, systems and applications
• Maintain an updated log of all issues
• Liaise with local vendors and suppliers as required to meet the requirements and requests of our operations and guests
• Communicate all important information to management and colleagues
• Other activities as deemed appropriate by the IT&T Manager and Cluster Director of IT.

 As IT Supervisor , we expect from you:

• Diploma holder of relevant disciplines or above
• Minimum 3 years’ experience of the same capacity in international 5-star luxury hotels.
• Well organized and structured
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, open mind of different culture, friendly, approachable and sociable
• Motivational with enthusiastic character with excellent listening skills
• Good command in English, knowledge in other languages is an advantage.
