JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet individual sales target approved by the management
• Attend and participate in sales and business development meetings
• Maximize function space utilization in order to maximize the potential revenue
• Initiate repeated bookings with existing clients
• Conduct regular sales activities to professional conference organizers, corporate meeting planners, exhibition organizers and relevant associations
• Coordinate event logistic closely with banquet service team and provide detailed information to departments concerned in order to ensure effective service to be delivered
• Ensure the entire sales cycle is properly handled with guest expectation and satisfaction
• Feedback on relevant trends, competitor pricing, creative concepts and any other information that will contribute toward the achievement of departmental financial and hotel goals
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by superior or Hotel Management

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

• Degree / Higher Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or relevant discipline
• Experience in Event Execution on M.I.C.E. groups handling
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in hospitality / catering industry
• Knowledgeable in industry trends, and preferable has an existing client network
• Creative, innovative and guest focus
• Positive attitude with good selling and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Delphi and/or Opera (S&C)
• Willing to work flexible hours
• Good proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Catering Sales Manager
