Cloud Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute cloud transformation strategies
Evaluate and recommend cloud platforms and services that align with business goals and requirements
Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
Design and implement basic CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based systems and applications
Migrate on-premise applications to Kubernetes-based cloud platforms such as AWS EKS
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based systems and applications
Collaborate with other engineers to ensure security, reliability, and scalability of cloud-based systems
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum of 1 - 2 years' of experience in cloud transformation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates design
Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
Experience in k8s and docker
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates design using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
Basic knowledge and skills in CI/CD
Basic knowledge and skills in Kubernetes
Experience with cloud migration and transformation tools and methodologies
Experience or familiarity with database management is considered a valuable asset but not a mandatory requirement.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
