DBS’ Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements and provides the highest level of personalised banking. We have a team of dedicated, experienced investment advisors who identify opportunities in the various asset classes and employ the best strategies and product vehicles to cater to each client’s needs. Coupled with partnerships within the DBS network and with global institutions, we strive to build long-term relationships with our Private Banking clients in Asia by providing them with high quality, timely and extensive wealth management, investment and financial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and grow private banking client portfolios by providing timely and accurate execution services, as well as investment advice on cash equities, listed derivatives and structure products across global financial markets
• Directly and proactively follow up with existing clients to provide timely market outlook, commentary, news flow and portfolio reviews
• Work closely with internal research analysts to generate actionable trade ideas for clients.In addition, partner with derivatives team to offer structure product solutions for clients with equities as the underline
• Liaise with Relationship Managers (RMs) to produce customized investment solutions to clients, aimed at growth of assets and profitability, while further developing relationships
• Internal marketing: Communicate proactively our investment views and recommendations to RMs and ICs, including presenting at the weekly investment meetings

Requirements

• University degree or above with minimum of 5 years of work experience in finance, business or related fields
• Strong knowledge of Private Banking products and services
• Must be registered RI (Regulated Activities; Types 1 & 4)
• Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is essential
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to build and foster strong client relationships
• A positive, outgoing, highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is a fast learner and works well under duress
