About the job

Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within F&B Service Division in Hong Kong, the Bar Manager - Champagne Bar will be responsible in supervising the day-to-day restaurant operation encompassing business level projection and promotional activities. Initiate training to enhance the consistency in service and standards. The Bar Manager - Champagne Bar reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

As Bar Manager - Champagne Bar, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Responsible for supervising day‑to‑day operations.
  • Inspect the front and back areas and make sure all is always impeccable
  • Control the quality of food and beverage served
  • Handle guests' comments and take immediate corrective actions
  • Organize and follow through the training and daily meetings with all staff
  • Arrange the hygiene and fire precaution lectures
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on creating new menus and promotion programmes
  • Responsible for colleague scheduling, briefing, performance reviews, recruitment, training & development and related issues
  • Assist the management in achieving departmental goals and ensure guests satisfaction level
  • Responsible for all aspects of Fire, Life, Health, Safety & Security pertaining to F&B operations, HACCP & Food Safety in the outlet

As Bar Manager - Champagne Bar, we expect from you:

  • With at least 4 years’ experience in luxury F&B or hotel industry
  • Experience in Bar Operations is preferred
  • Passionate about delivering an exceptional F&B service
  • Pleasant, presentable, service -oriented and good supervision skills
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Cantonese and English. Mandarin is an advantage
