System Analyst (1 yr contract, renewable) [Multiple Openings]

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and development of system applications.
• Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, from user requirement collection to program release.
• Collect and analyze user requirements, conduct system functional design, perform application quality assurance, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with vendors and internal team members to ensure applications are developed according to functional and programming specifications.
• Ensure that IT security controls and regulatory compliance requirements are integrated into related system development.
• Lead and manage assigned IT projects.

Requirements

• University degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Working experience in personal loan-related business is highly preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in application development, with a minimum of 2 years in a lead developer, lead engineer, or system analyst role.
• Proficient in articulating system design choices from both functional and non-functional perspectives.
• Proficient in modern Java (Version 17 or above) and the Spring framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring JPA/Hibernate/MyBatis, Spring Batch).
• Working knowledge of Cloud-Native Architecture concepts and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of modern front-end/mobile app frameworks (e.g., Angular.js, Vue.js, React/React Native, Flutter) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to teamwork.
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
