Position Summary
Responsible for planning, formulation and implementation of new strategies and initiatives on product and system development and service bundling to card merchant acquiring business, and ensuring all operational activities are performed in optimal effectiveness and productivity as well as fully compliance with the Bank’s and authority’s regulations.
Responsibilities
- Drive merchant acquiring business in Hong Kong market to gain market share and grow revenue
- Responsible for the development of product roadmap, formulate the business strategies and explore new product/solution ideas for merchant acquiring business
- Responsible for the payment products/solutions design, development, implementation and post launch review
- Lead and monitor the development and implementation of business projects, evaluate and monitor the business impact
- Monitor and review the Bank’s payment solutions/products to ensure its efficiency and compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers for digital innovation, daily operation efficiency and process optimization
- Stay abreast of industry developments and the regulatory environment in banking industry and merchant acquiring
Requirements
- University graduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Banking or related discipline, or other related qualifications
- Over 5 years’ experience in banking sector and with exposure in the card merchant acquiring business
- Sound knowledge and understanding of POS terminal and payment gateway/platform
- Capable of driving projects independently and under pressure
- Strong data analysis skills with the ability to make sound business decisions
- Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, analytical, and presentation skills
- Relevant HKIB qualification would be an advantage
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
