Research Analyst – Private Wealth Management

UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Limited

We are searching for a HK/China Research Analyst as part of the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Research team / CIO Office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct research on China macroeconomics, markets, selected sectors, and stocks, with a focus on Hong Kong
  • Write PWM research reports on investment strategies and stock picks
  • Organize/participate in webinars, sales/client meetings, and other events to market PWM research
  • Support the Product team in generating and pitching investment ideas aligned with house views and client interests
  • Engage Sales with research insights, strategies, and stock picks. Handle sales/client requests
  • Assist in monitoring stock model portfolios

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an investment research role covering Hong Kong /China (buy-side or sell-side)
  • Research experience includes but is not limited to macro, strategy, sector, or company-level coverage
  • Experience in technical analysis is preferred
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills, both speaking and writing
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
  • CFA and SFC Licenses 1, 4 and 9 are preferred
