About the Role
As a Security Manager, you will be ensuring smooth daily operations of the Security Department, safeguarding hotel assets and managing manpower for special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the Security Department, ensuring smooth and effective daily performance.
- Oversee safety and manpower deployment for all hotel areas, including swimming pool, ensuring proper supervision and operational excellence, full compliance with statutory requirements and regulations
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures and emergency response plans in accordance with hotel standards and legal requirements.
- Plan and manage duty rosters, manpower allocation, and deployment for daily operations, special events and VIP functions.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective control measures are in place to safeguard hotel assets.
- Oversee incident handling, investigations, accident reporting, E-log documentation and maintenance records in compliance with established standards.
- Monitor and manage security systems including access control, CCTV and alarm systems.
- Represent the Security Department in management meetings and communicate relevant information to the team to maintain high awareness of safety and crime prevention.
- Provide regular security training and drills for security staff and other departments.
- Liaise with local authorities and external agencies when required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
About You
- Diploma or certificate in Security Management with valid Security Personnel Permit.
- At least 5 years of experience, including 3 years of supervisory experience in the Hotel or Security Industry.
- Strong risk assessment and independent operational capabilities; familiar with access control, alarm monitoring, and CCTV systems.
- Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
