FINANCE MANAGER - RETAIL & HOTEL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities:

• In charge of month-end closing, cash flow, financial reporting, budget and forecast.  Oversee treasury function and payments. 
• Lead and support various improvement initiatives of the group to improve systems, business processes and internal controls
• Support daily operations and work closely with senior management
• Liaise with external parties such as lawyers, auditors, bankers etc.
• Involve in ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Qualified accountant, experience in Big 4 audit firms is a plus
• Minimum 12 years' all-rounded finance & accounting experience in sizable MNC or listed company, retail experience is a must
• Experience in supermarket or department store is a competitive advantage
• Extensive and all-round experience in month-end closing, cash flow & treasury management, payment, internal control & compliance and FP&A with strong business acumen
• Solid team management experience and proficiency in managing stakeholders internally and externally, including senior management, banks, auditors etc.
• Experience in new IT system implementation, design on new business workflow and internal control procedures
• Attention to details and strong project/ work stream management capabilities
• Leadership skills to foster an environment of collaboration and to drive changes to enhance efficiency.  Excellent interpersonal, presentation and management skills
• Proactive mindset, commercially focused and able to drive departmental initiatives
• Able to work in a fast pace environment, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Flexible, hands-on, able to work under pressure
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
