About the Role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be supporting daily restaurant operations, leading the team in delivering excellent guest service, managing staffing and training, and ensuring high standards in food, beverage, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager to oversee the restaurant’s day-to-day operations including staff rostering, training, daily administration and budget control
  • Manage and develop the restaurant's business by leading a team to provide the highest standard of service to guests including making recommendations on food and beverage, responding to guests' requests, comments and suggestions
  • Monitor and enhance food and beverage services and facilities, and the optimum staffing level to achieve high satisfaction for the guests.
  • Supervise that the required mise-en-place is done properly and ensure that the tablewares and consumable items are in high sanitation and adequate for smooth operations
  • Train and coach for all team members to achieve continuous improvement and help new colleagues aligning with the standards of the outlet.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager for delivering the operational readiness of the restaurant and perform any other related duties as and when assigned by supervisor

About You

  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in similar capacity of a renowned hotel, members’ club or a highly recognized western restaurant of catering group with a minimum of 1 year experience in supervisory role; experience in Singapore and Malaysia specialty restaurant is definitely an advantage
  • Innovative and strong sense of market trends
  • Service oriented with strong leadership skills and positive attitude
  • Good leadership skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers
  • Well versed in computer applications
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
