Thanks to our warm hosting style, natural charm and considered service style, we transport Members and their guests seamlessly from day to night, as they savour our delicious food and unparalleled drinks. As our Bar & Lounge Manager, you will collaborate with our Bar & Lounge team, building and developing your junior colleagues with empathy, encouragement and constructive support. You will lead by example, embodying the high level of excellence and intuitive service that is at the heart of Carlyle & Co.’s unscripted hospitality.

What you need to have:
- A proven track record in bar/restaurant operations in a similar capacity; prior experience in luxury/5-star environments is an advantage
- A strong understanding of managing a high-volume bar/restaurant operation; prior experience managing outdoor operation is an advantage
- Deep knowledge of beverage menu items, food & beverage recommendations, and the art of considered service
- Proven ability to multitask in an elevated yet informal service environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – we want you to foster genuine relationships with our Members and your team. You will be managing a team of approximately 20 service Associates.
- A strong command of English is essential. Proficiency in Cantonese and the ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage.
What you will do:
- Create unforgettable F&B experiences for our Members in every part of our food & beverage service
- Work alongside the Bar & Lounge Team to ensure service meets the Carlyle & Co. level of excellence – from food and beverage quality, to every Associate interaction. As our largest outlet, the Bar & Lounge is the main Club hub for our Members, and an ‘always-on’ part of their Club experience.
- Interact with Members to obtain feedback and build positive relationships – don’t be shy, introduce yourself!
- Lead the Bar & Lounge team in operations, whilst consistently performing at the highest level and with the utmost productivity
- Be a hands-on Manager with a calm, collected and visible presence in the Bar & Lounge, especially during busy periods
